El español Guillermo García- López se ha clasificado para disputar los cuartos de final del torneo de Madrás (India) al imponerse al austríaco Werner Eschauer por 4-6, 7-5 y 7-6 (3), después de 2 horas y 32 minutos de juego.
García-López se convierte así en el segundo español que consigue el pase a cuartos, tras Carlos Moyá, tercer favorito, que lo logró ayer.
Los resultados de los dos únicos encuentros que se han disputado hoy son:
Marin Cilic (CRO) venció Nicolas Mahut (FRA,5), por 6-2 y 6-4.
